What is the RCI indicator
This is the RCI indicator. It can be found on the bottom of your screen, next to the ticker. It is very useful and neccessary in building your city. Let me show you how it works:
The green bar to the left : residential zones. As you can see, this bar is above the 'R'. This means you need more residential zones. The more green you have above the 'R' the more residential zones you need.
The yellow bar to the right : industrial zones. This one is above the 'I', but not as much as the green. You do need more industrial zones, but not as much as residential zones, so don't over do it, or it will go under the 'I', which means zones are abandoning.
The Blue : commercial zones, and this blue bar is below the 'C'. There are a few commercial areas that will abandon. To reverse this effect, add more residential and industrial zones, and you should start to see that blue bar rise above the 'C'. Don't over do it, though, because the residential and industrial zones might go under their letters, too. |
