Smart Girls: Playhouse Best Review

I bought this game as a Christmas gift for my 4 year old daughter, to go along with her new DS. Since she hadn’t used a DS before, I was concerned that it might be a little too “old” for her since she doesn’t read yet. After reading the other reviews, I decided on this game and I’m so glad I did! She and her sisters (ages 2, 4, and 5) absolutely LOVE this game! It’s great because the child doesn’t need to be able to read to play the game and it has fun but easy mini-games to keep preschool-aged kids interested. I would recommend this game for any girl aged about 7 and under. I could see how it might be boring for older, more experienced DS players, but this was a great first game for us!

I bought this game for my six-year-old granddaughter based on a previous review from amazon.com. She loves it. She said that it is easy but fun. It is her favorite of all of the DS games that she got this Christmas.

Be careful about purchasing this game for a girl above age 4. My 5-year-old daughter was bored within minutes of playing. In fact, she played it on Christmas day and hasn’t touched it since. It’s a cute game, but it is definately suited for ages 2-4.

Wasn’t a hit with my kids. There really wasn’t all that much to do in this and they got bored with it very quickly.
